Using the theme of ‘bridging the gap’, the design incorporates the Kessock bridge as it appears in the school logo, with some of the wildlife associated with the Firth at North Kessock: Nowadays seals and dolphins attract large numbers of tourists and wildlife enthusiasts to the area every year. They are chasing the ‘Kessacks’ / small herring that drew fishing boats from all over the North East in the past. Circling above are the ever-present seagulls, a common sight in the village now and in days gone by.
